ECOLOGISTICS™ – AIMING FOR ECO-FRIENDLY TRANSPORT

If you are one of our annual contract customers, you have access to our Ecologistics™ service, which focuses on environmentally friendly transport. The service provides you with a monthly report showing the amount of CO₂ emissions generated by your shipments.

CO₂ emissions are influenced by factors such as vehicle condition, transport planning, and loading. At Pynnönen, we keep our fleet in excellent condition, ensuring not only reliable delivery schedules but also the lowest possible emissions.

Environmental responsibility and zero-waste thinking are core values that guide all our warehousing and logistics processes.

As part of our ecological transport solutions, we also offer—when agreed with the customer—the option to use Neste My Renewable Diesel, which can reduce the carbon footprint of transport by up to 90%. This is an effective way to reduce environmental impact without changes to the transport process.

For our customers, this translates into responsible operations where resources are used efficiently and circular economy principles are supported in both transport operations and pallet management.

Thanks to our vehicle tracking devices, the Ekologistiikka™ service can include optimisation of transport routes. This is done together with our clients. At the same time, we can go through packaging methods to make the transports as efficient as possible.

In the Paluulogistiikka™ service, we collect our clients’ pallets, boxes, roll containers as well as machinery, equipment or other goods to be recycled and return them to the client according to the agreed schedule. If necessary, we can take loading equipment to the point of collection.
